Spitfire Shutters fire shutters are manufactured in the UK and offer specifiers with a choice of 60, 120 and 240 minutes integrity performance in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987 & BS EN 1634-1:2008. Our fire products are tested by Exova Warrington fire (certification available upon request).
Consisting of a steel lath curtain, galvanised steel box assembly and guide rails the Spitfire Shutters range of fire shutters have been designed to offer security during normal use and to be closed automatically during an emergency fire situation. In the event of receiving a signal from the fire alarm the shutter will close under powered descent. All of Spitfire Shutters Fire Shutters are supplied with a battery back up system to close the shutter during power failure giving peace of mind that your shutter will close in an emergency situation.
Spitfire Shutters fire shutter sizes range from a minimum width of 800mm and maximum width off 7000mm with the minimum height being 800mm and maximum height of 4600mm.
Supplied in galvanised as standard or powder coated to Ral or BS colours subject to additional cost.

Spitfire Shutters fire curtains are invisible when not in use so very aesthetically pleasing and ideal for situations where fire protection is required without the need for security.
Tested by Exova Warrington fire to BS476 Part 22 1987 & BSEN1634-1:2008M our fire curtain offers a 120 minutes fire rating.
Spitfire shutters fire curtain when activated divides open spaces within your property slowing down and controlling the spread of fire to allow safe exit.
Manufactured from stainless steel wire reinforced glass fabric our fire curtain has been developed to contain a fire up to 120 minutes.
Using a 24v DC tubular motor the curtain remains in the open position until receipt of a signal from the fire alarm closes the curtain under gravity fail safe.
As standard the side guides, box and bottom rail are powder coated white with other Ral colours being available at additional cost.
